Well, that audio blog sure was fun. Now, if it just could to TTS (text to speech) with some degree of accuracy, the storage would not be so prohibitvely large. I think the best use of the audio blog, which I'll try later today, is multimedia: adding a snip of audio with a photo - also from your cell phone - would be great. Somebody must be doing that already, come to think of it. On the other hand, maybe there are moments in life best left unpreserved. I'll never forget the president of KDDI giving a speech at the BREW event last year stating matter-of-factly "I don't want a position-location capable picture phone all the time...like when I'm out with my work friends at a bar late at night". ahhem..yea..right..we all get it. Paradoxically, that's most likely far more entertaining than...
A photo of a techno-company conference room, shown at left, is why WiFi (and yes, bluetooth) needs to grow faster. Who needs all those cables?? and my God, what a pain to schlep all the cables wherever you go? Briefcases were simply not designed to carry those cables. The little tabs on the RJ-45 (was RJ-11) cables keep getting snapped off.
