Well, I'll try to blog through the first week of the Tour de France starting this Saturday. I'm here (currently in London) and managed to shlep my Serotta over here. It was not as hard as I imagined it would be.

What was hard was being without a mobile phone for 24 hours. My Nokia phone from last summer (stolen in a bar in Bosnia after a friend's wedding) was gone - but I still had the Vodafone sim. Well, as it turns out, as I'd not used it for 6 months the number was deactivated...ok. But - while you can get a new sim and be talking in 5 minutes time, it takes 3-7 business days to turn on your old sim. Well, long story short, I'm a new Virgin Mobile subscriber.

More tomorrow.

BTW - I applied for and received a trademark on "spassmeister"....that "tm" is no joke.

well, not surprisingly, yet another survey by yet another group (a "scientific" survey, no less) has concluded that one third of Americans would be cutting the copper cord, if only it was cheaper and the service quality was better. Well, yea...

As reported in WirelessWeek, a group of carriers in Europe have banded together, again, to form yet another "open" platform for content...a sort of euro-BREW . Maybe this one will work where Symbian faltered.
